Rev. Dr. Setri Nyomi - Council Chairman

REV. DR SETRI NYOMI - COUNCIL CHAIRMAN

The Rev. Dr. Setri Nyomi, is the immediate past General Secretary of the World Alliance of Reformed Churches (WARC), a theologian by profession. Dr. Nyomi received a major portion of his education through Christian public schools in Ghana. His theological studies began at the University of Ghana, Legon, and Trinity Theological Seminary in the 1970s. He received a Master of Sacred Theology degree from Yale University Divinity School and a Ph.D. in Pastoral Theology from Princeton Theological Seminary, Princeton, New Jersey.

Rev. Dr. Cyril Gershon Kwao Fayose

REVEREND DOCTOR CYRIL GERSHON KWAO FAYOSE - PRESIDENT

Rev. Dr. Cyril Gershon Kwao Fayose, was born in Accra on Thursday, 25th November, 1965 to the late Mr. Walter Kwame Fayose of Woe and Mrs. Comfort Essie Fayose (née Fiadjoe) of Anyako.

In 1970, his family relocated to Madina (a new development) where his primary education began at Calvary International School (a newly founded private primary school).  He proceeded to Labone Secondary School and West Africa Secondary School, where, between 1977 and 1985, he completed his ‘O’ and ‘A’ Levels.  As was the practice then, he worked at the City Engineers Department of the then Accra City Council for his pre-university national service.

VERY REV. DR. LIVINGSTONE KOMLA BUAMA - HONORARY CHANCELLOR

The Very Rev. Dr. Livingstone Komla Buama is a native of Klefe Dome in the Ho Municipality of the Volta Region of Ghana.  After his elementary education in his home town, he was appointed a pupil teacher for a short period of time.

In 1960, he gained admission to the E. P. Training College at Amedzofe, Ghana to pursue a two year basic course in education leading to the award of Certificate ‘B’.  A year after, he was called for a top-up programme at the Presbyterian Training College, Akropong Akwapim in Ghana leading to the award of Certificate ‘A’.  He taught for five years at various stations and received a call into the holy ministry to be trained as a minister of the gospel in the year 1970.  Before his admission to the Trinity College, Legon, he sat as a private candidate for the GCE ‘O’ level and passed all six subjects.  He graduated with Licentiate in Theology (L.Th) from the University of Ghana, Legon in 1973.
