The programme will equip the graduate with a solid grounding in modern management theory and practice. It also aims to increase self-awareness and confidence, facilitate personal growth and development. It will also improve decision-making skills, develop the analytical and creative skill necessary to manage effectively in a changing ICT global environment and enhance capacity to take on new roles and responsibilities.
The program fits into the nation’s manpower needs in that graduates’ skills may be applied in various facets and fields since accountants cut across all fields. The graduates will also be well-prepared to be self-starters, as well as entrepreneurs. The student will be a skilled financial manager and/ accountant with the ability to prepare accounting information for management use. The graduate can operate at managerial levels in organisations and be able to have good human relationships with sub-ordinates and other managers.
The program also fits into the mission objectives of the E.P University College in that it has been established to offer quality education to the nation in a Christian environment; believing that graduates will be able to apply their knowledge for the holistic socio-economic development of the nation.
