Any of the following:
1. SSSCE/SHSCE/WASSCE Candidates
- Passes in Core English, Core Mathematics, AND Integrated Science or Core Science or Agricultural Science or Social Studies orLife Skills
PLUS
- Passes in three (3) Elective Subjects in Business/Science/General Arts/Visual Arts/General Agriculture.
- The Cumulative Aggregate of the six (6) subjects must be 24 or better.
2. GCE Advanced Level GCE ‘O’ Level credit passes in five (5) subjects including English Language and Mathematics PLUS at least two (2) passes at the GCE Advanced Level in Science/Arts/Fine Art/Business subjects. At least one of the ‘A’ Level passes must be at a grade not lower than ‘D’.
3. Professional/Other Qualifications Any of the following:
(a) Four (4) Passes in DBS Accounting OR Secretarial Option, two (2) of which must be at least Credit Passes.
(b) GBCE (Cumulative Aggregate for 6 Subjects must be 24 or better) (i) Six (6) Passes (Single Subject Entry) including English Language, Business Mathematics/ Arithmetic, and Marketing PLUS any three (3) of the following: Business Law, Cost Accounting, Economics, Financial Accounting, Information Technology, and Commerce, OR (ii) Six (6) Passes (Single Subject Entry). Passes in English Language, Business Mathematics/Arithmetic and Integrated Science/Social Studies PLUS Marketing, and any two (2) with the following: Business Law, Economics, Commerce, Cost Accounting, and Information Technology. OR (iii) GBCE (Group Entry) Accounting or Business Studies Options (5 Passes) Two (2) Passes compulsory subjects including Financial Accounting or Economics, and English Language PLUS any three (3) of the following optional subjects: Business Mathematics, Commerce, Business Law, Cost Accounting, and Office Practice. Note: (Cumulative Aggregate for the five (5) subjects must be 20 or better). OR (iv) GBCE (Group Entry) Secretarial Studies Option (Cumulative Aggregate for six (6) subjects must be 24 or better). Six (6) Passes: Three (3) Compulsory Subjects (English Language, Shorthand, and Typewriting) PLUS any three (3) Optional Subjects (Commerce, Economics, Business Law, and Office Practice)
(c) ABCE (Single Subject Entry Certificate Option) Three (3) Passes at least one of which should be at a grade not lower than ‘D’
(d) RSA Stages II/III or Ghana Commercial Examinations Stage II/III (i) Five (5) relevant passes in RSA Stage II or Ghana Commercial Examinations Stage II PLUS, at least two (2) passes in relevant GCE ‘A’ Level subjects one of which must be at a grade not lower than ‘D’ (Accounting, Business Management, Economics, Government, and Mathematics/Statistics) OR (ii) Three (3) relevant passes in RSA Stage III/ Ghana Commercial Examination Stage III.
4. Professional Certificates of Relevant Bodies - Part I or Foundation/Intermediate Levels of CIM, CA(Ghana), ACCA, CIMA, ICSA, AInst BA, ACIB, GAT (4 Passes), etc.
5. Teacher Training Certificate ‘A’ /Post Secondary Teacher Training Certificate Candidates - Must have Cert. ‘A’ Teacher Training Certificate/Post-Secondary Teacher Training Certificate PLUS
- Five (5) relevant GCE ‘O’ Level Credit Passes including English Language and Mathematics OR
- Six (6) SSSCE/WASSCE/SHSCE Passes (Aggregate 24 or better): Three (3) Core subjects including English and Mathematics, AND three
(3) electives in Science/General Agriculture/GeneralArts/Visual Arts/Business Options. - Must have at least three (3) years post-qualification working experience.
Note: Evidence of working experience must be attached to application.
6. Mature Applicants (i) Must be at least 25 years old. (ii) Must have a minimum relevant working and proven experience of three (3) years. (iii) Must pass a written qualifying examination (EPUPE) in General Paper, and a Special Paper covering questions in Management, Economics, and Accounting/Government. May be interviewed. (iv) Candidates who do not have GCE ‘O’ Level credit passes or SSSCE/WASSCE passes in English and Mathematics will be required to take EPUPE in the applicable subject(s).
NB: Every Mature applicant should attach certified photocopies of his/her Birth Certificate and Evidence of Working Experience to the application.
7. Foreign Students Foreign students may be considered for admission if they hold qualifications equivalent to those mentioned above. However, they must show evidence of proficiency in English, i.e. attach certified copies of this evidence to their applications.
