Any of the following:
1. SSSCE/SHSCE/WASSCE Candidates
- Passes in three (3) Core Subjects: English, Mathematics, and Integrated Science/Core Science/Agricultural Science, PLUS
- Passes in three (3) Business elective subjects OR three (3) General Arts elective subjects (Economics, Mathematics, Geography/Government/French).
- The Cumulative Aggregate of the six (6) subjects must be 24 or better.
2. GCE Advanced Level GCE ‘O’ Level credit passes in five (5) subjects including English Language and Mathematics AND at least two (2) passes at the GCE Advanced Level from the following subjects: Accounting, Business Management, Economics, Government, and Mathematics/Statistics. One of the ‘A’ Level passes must be at a grade not lower than ‘D’.
3. Professional/Other Qualifications Any of the following:
(a) DBS (Accounting Option) with four (4) Passes, two of which must be at least Credit Passes.
(b) GBCE (Cumulative Aggregate for 6 subjects must be 24 or better).
(i) Six (6) Passes (Single Subject Entry) including English Language, Business Mathematics/Arithmetic, and Financial Accounting PLUS any three (3) of the following: Cost Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Business Law, Information Technology, and Marketing,
OR
(ii) Six (6) Passes (Single Subject Entry) including English Language, Business Mathematics, and Integrated Science PLUS Cost Accounting or Financial Accounting and any two (2) of the following: Commerce, Business Law, Economics, Information Technology, and Marketing.
OR
(iii) Six (6) Subjects (Group Entry)
- Two (2) Compulsory Subjects, i.e. English Language and Financial Accounting PLUS any Four (4) of the following Optional Subjects: Business Mathematics, Commerce, Business Law, Economics, Cost Accounting, Integrated Science/Social Studies.
OR
(iv) Six (6) Subjects (Group Entry)
- Two (2) Compulsory Subjects, i.e. English Language, and Economics PLUS Financial Accounting and any three (3) of the following other Optional Subjects: Business Mathematics, Commerce, Business Law, Integrated Science/Social Studies.
(c) ABCE (Single Subject Entry Certificate Option) Three (3) Passes made up of Financial Accounting or Cost Accounting PLUS any two (2) of the following: Business Law, Auditing, Business Mathematics, Economics, Business Finance, Information Technology, Taxation, and Business Communication. (d) RSA Stages II/III/Ghana Commercial Examinations Stages II/III (i) Five (5) relevant Passes in RSA Stage II/ Ghana Commercial Examinations Stage II PLUS at least two (2) Passes in relevant GCE ‘A’ Level subjects (Accounting Business Management, Economics, and Mathematics/Statistics)
OR
(ii) Three (3) relevant Passes in RSA Stage III / Ghana Commercial Examination Stage III. (e) Professional Certificates of Relevant Bodies
- Part I or Foundation/Intermediate Levels of CA(Ghana), ACCA, CIMA, etc.
4. Mature Candidates
- Must be at least 25 years old.
- Must have a minimum relevant working and proven experience of three (3) years.
- Must pass a written qualifying examination, E.P. University Placement Examination (EPUPE) in General Paper, and a Special Paper covering questions in Management, Economics, and Accounting. May be interviewed.
- Candidates who do not have GCE ‘O’ Level Credit passes in English Language and Mathematics, OR SSSCE/WASSCE/SHSCE passes in Core English and Core Mathematics will be required to take EPUPE in the applicable subjects.
Note: Every Mature applicant should attach certified photocopy of his/her Birth Certificate and Evidence of Working Experience to the application.
5. Foreign Students Foreign students with qualifications equivalent to those mentioned above will be considered for admission. However, they must attach to their applications evidence of Proficiency in English. |
